I truly don't know who you really are or what your problem is! And at this point it won't matter because I have blocked you from commenting on My Lj. But rest assured I will find out who you are
and I will take the appropriate action. You obviously believe that I'm ignorant or, at least that is what your feeble little imagination tells you. I sir/madam am a good person. And what I do
during the course of My day whether detrimental to My health or not is My business. Because I
choose to post here on Lj, it doesn't give you the right to knock me or what I do. Now you say
that walking to the Kitchen to get food is not exercise, you say stirring food with a wooden spoon is not exercise, and you state that being out on disability isn't an excuse for laziness! Be your ignorant opinions as they may, all this tells me is that you've been in my home and you know what my routine is! Or you are stalking me! If its the latter, like I've stated before, I will find out who you are and you can come to my house and we'll settle this like men!! Oh! I'm sorry! We'll

Contrary to what some people may believe, I am not a lazy lout! I am a good person who has had some bad breaks! Now, I've said it before and I'll say it again. I post here because I like it!
Because its a place to vent! Thats all!! I don't post here because I want anyone to feel sorry
for me! Simply because I am fully aware of everyone in the world who are worse off then myself!
I do get out and exercise when i feel up to it. And contrary to popular belief my time at home is not spent watching TV everyday! I do have a job, and I do earn a living! For those of you saying that I sit on my ass all day, I have this to say: you don't really know me! You just think you do!
Theres an old saying that goes: YOU SHOULD WALK A MILE IN A MAN'S SHOES BEFORE JUDGING HIM!!
For those of you on my friends list, this rant is not meant for you. Just for those who see fit to insult me! As for those of you who wish to give friendly advice,fine! But don't insult me by
saying that I sit on my ass all day! Just because I make a post about surfing every now and then!

Everyone is working today. So here I sit alone again. Wondering what to do with myself. Got a call today from a bad credit car loan place I applied to, they said they could probably help us.
We'll see. I've been disappointed so many times for so many things I'm starting to expect the worst news every time! Maybe I'm a pessimist, so sue me! Nothing on TV, so here I sit surfing.
Well,hopefully all will work out. Right! And tomorrow we'll have lunch with Elvis and JFK!

BORED! BORED! BORED! Wife and Daughter working, one Son at the mall with a friend, and the other at youth center. Woke up today and popped on Fox News- found out that the 12 year old Girl they were searching for turned up dead. It seems that the guy they caught, had been arrested for incest
some time ago. This guy is in the US on a visa and was supposed to be deported after being convicted! But He wasn't! He was allowed to roam free after the smoke cleared! The way it was supposed to go was like this: immigration was supposed to deport this maniac upon hearing of His conviction but didn't! So because SOMEONE at immigration dropped the ball this bastard was free to go out and rape again! Only this time a young Girl died for it! If you ask Me, the person that screwed up at the immigration dept. should go to jail as well! A little extreme you say? Try

Well, here I am! All alone once again! Oh, the boys are home but their probably going to sleep awhile. I went on a website to try and buy another vehicle. Hopefully it will come thru this time.
Anyhow once the boys awake and go about their lives today,I'll be alone again. Maybe I'lljust do what I did yesterday.Eat something and watch the Sopranos on tape. Having trouble with the Direct TV lately, constantly breaking up! But were kind of between a rock and a hard place up here,what
with our only choices being Dish Network, The local cable co.(which has a sucky channel line-up)
or this fucking Direct TV!! Oh and one more thing, if you see this Nick keep it to your self about the car loan Thanks. |

Well, another day in paradise is upon us. I just figured I'd post while I wait for Dan to get ready for work. Gotta drive Him to Speculator in a bit. Probably pick up a battery while I'm there
to try to get the Buick started. Hopefully it will and I'll get it to the transmission guy. I'm
hoping that its not a serious problem. Maybe by this time on Friday, we'll have at least some of our independence back. We were hoping to be able to buy another car on time, but so far have hit dead ends. Beth is home today but, not feeling well. Oh well, She works hard and deserves to rest.
Maybe She'll feel better later. Clouds are going in and out, and its not supposed to get higher
than 77 degrees today. Hopefully the entire summer will pan out like this. I guess My taste for hot weather is waning. I must be feeling My age. I feel very depressed today. I guess I have too much time on My hands lately and have occasion to think too much about things. I miss everyone terribly and am depressed about not being able to see them. I've come to the conclusion that I've
no real friends either. Oh I consider My wife and kids My friends, but I miss the camaraderie that
I used to enjoy with John, Stu, and Joe Mac. But life goes on and I guess what they say is true,
you can't go home again. I am however looking forward to our trip to Florida to see Mom, Gloria,
an Vin. Well, time to go now have to take Dan to work very soon. So once again, from the

I am so bored! At least Beth is home now. She along with My Daughter are working in the same place. My younger Son is also working at the same store. My older Son is working down the road at
a place called Moffits Beach for the state. The only one who isn't working is Me! I'm still out
on comp. so, here I sit. It would seem that most of my days are filled with doing domestic chores such as dishes, wash, etc. Nothing much else to report except that I'm bored. So, without further

It is a truly beautiful day here in the mountains! Its going to be a very dry 80 degrees today.
I feel very lucky to be alive today. Not any particular reason, but I just do! Got early this morning to go for blood work. Nothing life threatening mind you, just normal type 2 crap. Beth has to work today and I have nothing planned so,I'll probably just take a stroll and then chill.
Probably make some calls just to shoot the breeze. I noticed quite a lot of tourists and
vacationers are up. Reason being that I was passed several times on the road while I was doing
60-65 in a 55 zone. Not much else to report today. Kind of a boring post. Hope all is well with

It is another beautiful day in the mountains today! I have to get a shout out to my Mom down in
Homo-Sassa,Florida. Today is Her birthday! I hope its a happy one for you! Wish we could be there to celebrate with you! Looking forward to seeing you in October! As for you dear Sister,keep your

Just in the last couple of weeks,I have been receiving snide answers to my journal comments.
These comments came from someone whom I did or did not know. But seeing as these comments were
all sent by "anonymous" I should have been able to ignore them. But I didn't! I foolishly
fed into this person's nonsense by letting myself get angrier with each response! I became quite
belligerent and profane in my angered state. The more profanities flew from my keyboard,the more
this person loved it! And the sarcasm kept flowing from His or Her computer. I kept feeding into this nonsense until I received a response from who I believed to be a moderator at LJ. This person suggested that we all conduct ourselves in a decent manner. So, without further a due I posted
an apology to everyone at LJ and everyone who witnessed my extremely embarrassing display!
But I would also like to point out that LJ is a place for everyone to vent. LJ is NOT someplace for people to bash others with problems! There are many people who only have LJ to vent at!
And some of these people are in bad emotional states! Those of you who bash people
on places like LJ, might find it terribly fun.But none of you stop to think that you could be driving someone to hurt themselves or worse! You who have been making these snide, rude and
hurtful comments( and YES those songs are hurtful) Should stop and think next time you see fit to
make ridiculous comments! There might be a time when you need someone to care! And you know what?
I'll be at the top of that list! With a shoulder to cry on and great listening technique! Did you
see what I did there? Just know that this is a sincere response to any and all who are considering

Ah yes! That proverbial other shoe has once again dropped,and once again Mr.Fate has picked it up
and beaten us over the head with it! That car we were so happy to get,came with a little something extra! A something we sure as shoot didn't want! When we went to pick it up today, my Wife experienced trouble getting it up to 55 mph. Why? You guessed it! Transmission problems! But this time we are really screwed! With me being out of work due to an injury, and bills starting to mount AGAIN, problems are inevitable! So now we once again have 2 vehicles that are figuratively
if not literally useless! With the July 1st mortgage payment rapidly approaching Troubles are
certain to follow. Don't know what else to say except that I'm tired of always trying to think positive when it almost always comes with a condition or explodes in my face!

| Another Day In The Life... |

Its been an interesting couple of days. First, I take a fall getting off the bus, then spend
an inordinate amount of time at the ER, and then come to find out that the guy we took our car to for bodywork, wants to charge us $1300. to fix it! I informed Him that we couldn't
afford this price and asked him if He could possibly do something for cheaper. He said he would work something up and get back to us. That was 4 days ago. And still no word! My friends, who were willing to help us out $ wise that is, suggested that we look for another vehicle. They said they'd help us with that too. Well, they went out shopping yesterday,
and found a 1989 Buick Century with low miles,new tires, a new exhaust system, and recently
passed inspection, for $600. My friend got the guy down to $450. He started it and said it runs really well. I haven't seen it yet but hope to have it in my possesion by the weekend.
Most of this is happening because we can't get our current vehicle inspected. Well I now have 2 vehicles cluttering up my landscape! The property is beggining to look like a junkyard!
Well,thats all for now. Gotta go pick up Beth from work in just a short time. Till next

Hi Everyone! Hows it goin? Had a trip to Boston yesterday with a group of middle schoolers, not
a bad day except that they were from a town about 75 miles away. Never the less, the rtip went off well. That is until I attempted to step off the bus at the garage. You see, on these trips, kids
will sometimes bring candy with them. For example; ju-ju-bees, gum, and of course, jaw breakers!
Yes friends, jaw breakers! The candy that when dropped on a linoleum tiled bus floor causes a
safety hazard! Hence the oops. When I tried to step off the top bus step,BANG!!! Down I went!!
Like a ton of bricks! Presumingly from some stray jaw breakers on the bus floor! Long story short,
I ended up in the ER getting x-rayed for what I assumed would be a broken hand. And very possibly
a pulled muscle in my left arm. (At least thats what the pain felt like at the time). But no
broken bones or pulled muscles, thankfully just a badly banged up arm and hand. Take me few days
to heal and then back to the grind. In any event I'm okay. So I'll just rest and go back to briving a dus! ( As Ralph Kramden would say). Anyway,hope all is well! From the sunny-

Hows it goin? Hope all is well with everyone. Had a decent trip with a group from Delmar,N.Y.-
yesterday. I took them to Holtsville,L.I. to play a soccer game. All in all a pretty decent day.
Well another Mother's day is upon us. And I didn't have opportunity to get my wife a card. I
feel lousy about it! Beth is a wonderful Wife and an even more fantastic Mom! I'm terribly ashamed of myself about this! I should know better! But my Beth has been a really good sport about it!
In any case it is a beautiful day here,and it seems as if its going to be a warm one! I'm off today and tomorrow once again. We will be spending some time together as we always try to on our
days off that fall together. so Tues. I will be doing a line run. Taking the G.E workers into work and home again with a Price Chopper seniors bus thrown into the mix. A few small charters in between and finally a three day-er to Washington D.C. Well,hope all is well for you all and the weather is well. Hey! Hows it goin? feeling kinda good today. Had several opportunities to lose my patience this
week but I didn't! And I think I have the right to be proud of myself! I avoided confrontation and
went on with whatever I was doing at the time. Anyhow,I know my family will be proud of me! My simple goal in life is just that! Simplification! When things get complicated I get frustrated!
And that ladies and gentlemen, just won't do! At this point in my life I'm looking forward to
the rest of my life. And,I'm finally at a point where I REALLY feel positive about everything!
I have a beautiful wife,great kids and a loving wonderful sister, mom, and brother,not to forget my cousins and my godson.Gotta go now but I'll be back later! CIAO!! |

Enjoying another day off. Spending time with Beth, and just enjoying some good luck for a change! But I'm not taking anything for granted either! Because it seems like everytime I do,
it blows up in my face! The good luck (I pray) will continue as the paychecks continue to be
better. With god's help, we will continue to dig out from under this mess were in! Anyhow,
tomorrow I go back to work doing the late plaza line run and possibly going to the Scotia
garage to help out again. The next day is more of the same,except that I will be in Glens Falls doing a Price chopper seniors bus instead of going to Scotia. Thursday, it will be Boston and Sat. it will be a trip to Lake Grove,NY. Possibly going back to D.C. next week.
Our sattelite has been turned off as we couldn't pay the bill due to more pressing issues.
But, its a small price to pay to get out from under as I mentioned before. Anyway,we'll probably be going into Gloversville to cash my check and cover an overdraft in our account,
and maybe buy some food. My Mom still wants us to move down to Florida as she keeps searching the want ads for bus driver jobs for me and trying to find us a place to live down there.
I feel bad about saying this but it doesn't look like we can go down for even a visit in August!Beth,and all three of the kids will probably be working and that leaves me alone!
And me going down there without anyone else is just noty possible! Anyway,till next post-

Well boys and girls I believe its finally happening.We're getting some relief from all this grief.
Things are starting to look up and I am as happy as I have been in a VERY long time! Paychecks
are starting to go up and we just may be able to come out ahead of this fiasco! I guess hard work
and determination do pay off! Having faith in god doesn't hurt either! We were finally able to close on our loan and now my brothers-in-law are totally out of the picture! The house and all its charm belong to us(and the bank)! We are now free to do as we please! If all goes as I believe it will,we will be able to pay off most of the current greed mongers that all have their hands out!
I had a VERY successful week this week,and I hope and pray for it to continue!at least until we
can crawl out from under! Although I always miss my beautiful wife when I'm away, I'm grateful
for the work. In this past week I have been to Williamsburg,Va.,N.Y.C.,Old Montreal,And Syracuse.
In the next week I expect to be headed to Washington D.C. and Boston as well. Not bad for a guy that never traveled further north than Mass.and further south than N.J. before. Well its an absolutely gorgeous day so Beth and I are going for a ride then hopefully a walk. I pray for god's
continued guidance and strength as things get better. So for the first time in I don't know how long,I'm in a good mood! Thank you Jesus! So from the bright, beautiful, Adirondack Mountains,
